What is Kolo?
Kolo is a dating and community app for Eastern Europeans in America.
Eleven city circles: New York, Chicago, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Sacramento, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, Miami. Ukrainian, Polish, Russian, Romanian, Georgian, Czech, Slovak, Baltic, Balkan — first and second generation, 20s and 30s.
It isn't a swipe deck. Answer questions about how you actually live and you get an Archetype, mapped across cultural connection, family, faith and tradition — the four things that decide whether an Eastern European relationship works, and that no other app asks about. Keep talking and you unlock Depth Layers: the parts of someone that don't fit on a profile. Walk into an Eastern European–owned café or salon on the Kolo map and a one-tap check-in shows who else from the circle is in the room.
